All eyes will again be on Gwrych Castle, Abergele in North Wales as the celebrities arrive this winter. I'm a Celebrity's 2021 series will return to Gwrych Castle following the success of last year's show.
ITV Head of Entertainment Commissioning, Katie Rawcliffe, said: 'We can confirm today that we'll be returning to Wales for the 2021 series of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! We've always said we have contingencies in place for the series if the covid situation continued to bring uncertainty, and after a highly successful run at the castle last year we're pleased that we can return there... [to] produce another hugely entertaining series.' Pre-production works are underway at the castle in August 2021.
The hit ITV show, "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" came to North Wales after the Covid19 pandemic made filming on location in Australia impossible. Giovanna Fletcher won in 2020, in what was I'm a Celeb's second most watched series! Popular with the fans despite the move from the jungle we hope you'll tune in to see this magnificent Welsh backdrop.
Gwrych Castle is dramatic visitor attraction and is just a 20 minute drive from The Beaches Hotel. During pre-production and shooting, Gwrych Castle will be closed to the general public. Fans of I'm Celeb will be welcome at the Castle once it reopens for tours in Spring 2022.
